If you enlarge the photos, you can get a better idea of what I did. And, as described under the 3rd picture...
"Isn't the PINKness beautiful? I of course, started with a WHITE Tree, with 300 white lights. I then wove and tucked pink tulle (6" wide on a bolt of about 20 yards) in between the branches. That was too light a pink, so I added a brighter pink ribbon (2 1/2" wide x 15 yards to a bolt) with an opalescent edge on it...and wove and tucked that into the tree in front of the tulle. The tulle and ribbon combined, gave it just the right ethereal effect I was looking for."
