PINK GIRLIE GIRL TIME

I had such a blast this evening. Daddy was working so we decided to have some "GIRLIE GIRL TIME." They really needed a bath and haircuts. Giving 2 and 3 year olds a haircut is not easy. I cannot tell you how many times I had to tell them both to stay still and not move, but I got it done. I cut their hair just like my mom used to cut mine. I think their hair came out cute. Afterwards I used the hairdryer on them. Audrey's hair came out so cute. Her hair is usually full of curls, especially after getting it washed. Jane's hair is bone straight. I tried to add a wave at the ends but to no such luck. Then I painted their nails a pretty pink and, of course, I had to give them alittle lip shimmer and some body glider on their cheeks. They were so excited. And to top our special time together off, they both put on their cotton candy pink and silver sparkly night gowns. We had so much fun. These are the moments that just really tug at your heartstrings. I will cherish these moments forever. I look forward to many more "Girlie Girl TIMES" together. Mommy loves you girls.

Oh Ellen! This is the sweetest post! See, now this is what I miss about not having girls! Your girls are living dolls! Look at those eyes! Beautiful! And you did a great job on their hair! LOVE it!

I had a tea party outside with my boys yesterday and we had the best time! I will post pics next week.

I am glad you and the girls had such fun, quality time together! I am sure they will cherish these times forever!

Love ya,

Amy, Thank you so much. They are truly amazing. I cannot imagine not having girls, but I know that I am also missing out not having boys. I would love to see your tea party with the boys. I will be watching for your posts. THese times we spend with our babies (no matter what age) is so precious. Time just goes by way to fast. I really want to work on taking moments to make memories.

Thank you for stopping in. It is so exciting to see your posts. girlie hugs, Ellen
